I just have to make a comment here. Eddie Hazel deserves a mention everytime there is an opportunity, great guitar player. This song was played at his funeral, when he passed away in 1992, only 42 years old.

While spending quality time in an apartment earlier tonight, I came to think about this song.

1 of my favourite lead singers from one of my favourite bands the band finished 4 or 5 years ago the lead singer Ville Valo is back solo with his first song

Today James Newell Osterberg Jr is 75 years old. We know him as Iggy Pop.

Lust for life, indeed. Here’s his story on how this song came about.

Just found that Klaus Schulze passed away. He was one of the pioneers of the German so called kraut rock scene, as a member of Ash Ra Temple and Tangerine Dream, and in his long solo career. Won’t post a video here, as they are usually rather long. I just wanted to make this short tribute. Thank you for the music, may you be remembered.

That is very sad news. I loved his and Tangerine Dream’s music.

Ukrainian singer Nastya Kamenskykh addressed the world with a new song, You crying.

The English-language song’s message is an echo of millions of Ukrainians and Ukraine itself to the whole world. According to Nastya Kamenskykh, she wants as many people as possible to know about the strength and courage of Ukrainians in the struggle for freedom.

While listening to the song in the post above, I came to think of this beutiful and sad piece of music :sunflower:

I’d like to pay tribute to Scottish guitarist Ricky Gardiner, who passed away last week aged 73. He co-founded the progressive rock band Beggars Opera, but is perhaps best known for his work with David Bowie and Iggy Pop in the Berlin period. For Iggy he wrote the music for The Passenger, with its iconic guitar riff. Thank you for the music, may you be remenbered.

Once again it is time to pay tribute to a musician we’ve lost. Greek keyboard player Vangelis passed away earlier this week at the age of 79. He first gained attention in Greek prog rock band Aphrodite’s C___d, but is best known for his solo career, especially his movie scores, Blade Runner and Chariots of Fire are probably the best known of these. Thank you for the music Vangelis, may you be remembered.
