ZZ Top - Esther Be the One (1979)
Due to drummer Frank Beard’s passing, I’ve been listening a little more to them than usual. Let me share a song hidden on one LP’s, a little different from from what they usally did. For some reson this is one of my favourite songs by them.
ZZ Top guitarist Billy Gibbons has shared this statement: “Frank didn’t mind being beardless. After all, he had the name.”
Dmitry Oganyan, bassist for the rock band Kukryniksy, was found dead in St. Petersburg, 78.ru reports.
His body, with a severed hand, was discovered in a pond on Michmanskaya Street. A severed hand and an axe were found on the shore.
According to russian tradition Oganyan’s cause of death is unknown. The musician was 45 years old.

The American country singer Kenny Rogers (1938-2020) was born 88 years ago today. He’s not really a favourite of mine, but he does have a few songs I enjoy very much. Like this one…

Hellbillies - Ho Birgjit Lien (1992)
Just to clear up some confusion in another topic, or confuse it even more 
Hellbillies is an excellent Norwegian country rock band 
But they sing in Norwegian, so unfortunately they are “lost” to the rest of the world.
