Alvin Lee - Ten years after - I`m going home (Woodstock festival in 1969)
I would like to celebrate the memory of Alvin Lee, the guitarist, vocalist and a founding member of the British rock band Ten Years After. He would have turned 79 today if he hadn’t passed away in 2013 due to a “unforeseen complications following a routine surgical procedure”. People called him “Captain Speed Fingers” because of his lightening fast playing. I think it was a proper nickname. I got to see him on stage twice.
