🚧 We're migrating to New version of VHTV

I am actually most of the time logged in when I want to be logged in myself. If I should want to not be logged in, then I log out. If I want to log in again I log in again. I experience very little problems with it. Thank god. :hugs: :hugs:

You’re a lucky one. I get logged out every single time. From laptop and mobile. From the main site and the forum.

probably because your not allowing cookies to be saved or your using a filtering add on

Of course the reply to us who are having issues with logging in has to be our fault and our stupidity of not setting this option or press that to allow cookies where before on the old version everything was absolutely fine and also no other issues with any other site just VHTV

I have tried everything and every setting that you can think of regarding cookies VPN and anything else. Reinstalling browsers clearing cache cookies and so on anything you name i have tried and to still no avail.

Satire: The users here all have no idea how to use a computer, how about CHTV writing an instruction manual.

Less than 10 are reporting problems. Seems it works fine for the majority.

You tried without ublock Origin by now?

Yes at the moment i’m still currently logged in in two sessions will see after a few hours if i still remain logged in on one of them.

i do understand your frustration , but 99.9/% of any log in issues is browser device related . i am only trying to help not being vindictive as you may think :ok_hand:

But not all issues the first thing whenever i report an issues to support they suggest to me whatever method or idea you will say in relation to cookies. I have tried everything and have done for years and know all the hidden secrets or whatever. I’m currently trying the ublock extension and see if i remain logged in or not.

I am 99% sure the ublock extension is the problem.

as i stated in the beggining of this conversation , i mentioned 3 main causes , cookies . cachre files and filtering addons , ie your unblock origin , hopefully you will find out that it was the add on that was causing the issue , but remenmber i did say this in the beggining , and then perhaps you wont need to reply in your sarcastic way in future , as alll i have done is try to help

I haven’t changed anything on my side. I use the same laptop, browser and phone. Never had problems before the version change.

What i clearly managed to observe is that when i use the laptop, i get logged out from the phone. And viceversa.

If i use only one of them for a longer period of time, it’s fine, i stay logged in.

So no, the problem is not on my side

Seems not everybody has the problem. In fact the majority does not. Do you also use some browser extensions or other third party tools?

thats probably software that vhtv have installed to stop account sharing . ie running on 2 different ip or more if your running on same ip then theres little chance of account sharing . all though im not 100% sure if vhtv have implemented this in to there software , so thats something you need to ask thm

Nope I can stay logged in on two different IPs.

Jabs, i use the exact same as i did for years. Nothing different. Chrome as a browser on both phone and laptop. Can not be from my side when the only change that happened is the site.

You did not answer my question about extensions or other tools…

I wasn’t and i didn’t see the part that you mentioned about the addons i missed that part for that i apologize but i wasn’t having a go at you i was just saying that not everything has to do with members and them not knowing about how to use cookies and so on.

BTW we still have to wait to see if it was ublock as sometimes i could stay logged in for hours before i need to see after 24 hours or 48 hour period to say for good whether it was that or not.
