Yeah most places have the boilers per neighbourhood or district and are kept at the same temperature everyday regardless of the weather outside, in the newer residential complexes they might have their own boiler-rooms so the temperatures can be altered to suit the weather outside
Yes i do, it’s a fully automatic type and is free to use, it’s called a Robwin 
Personally i have never wanted a mechanical one i just think it’s being fucking lazy
I know people to stick a whole weeks dishes etc in one
I can see the use of one for big family’s which is fair enough but for the two of us i feel it is being wasteful and over extravagant,

here in italy there are buildings with central heating and others don’t… maybe at your place all over the country everyone has independent heating…
Yes but they are on the boilers and not in the apartments 
Yes the majority of people do whether it is gas, electric or log burners etc etc.
We all have meters in our houses which record what energy we use for which we are billed for each household every 3 months or so. All suppliers are private company’s.nothing is state owned.
Some were nationalised by the government many many years ago but most made a right balls up of it and in the end all were privatised.
Our heating, like most others have thermostats for each room on each radiator so you can control the tempertures thoughout the house for every room.
