Heating in Russia usually gets turned on October 1st. So should be on. But maybe it is s__tty…
The first alternative for me would be to put on a shirt. The second alternative if one still feel cold is to put on a sweater. In Russia October can be quite cold yet the heat system in building is still not on for a few weeks.
But they don’t earn money by having clothes on

Yes there is an oven which can be seen from cam 2 but that would be dangerous as a heat source.
Gas ovens may burn inefficiently or go out altogether. The gas flame heats the oven, thus producing carbon monoxide. Without proper ventilation, this can lead to carbon monoxide poisoning.
Maybe an electric oven, most are that have gas hobs.

The hob is a separate item anyway, not part of the oven.
