I would like to ask if it seems correct to you that the webcams are “obscured” every time by video devices, webcams, lights, chairs, and tables or notebooks. All this to allow a better viewing experience (at least I hope) for paying clients of services “alternative” to VHTV. It doesn’t seem fair or right to me towards the paying clients of VHTV!
To not forget the cameras that have fallen, are offline, covered, blocked, POORLY POSITIONED, far away, or in impractical places.
Sometimes it also comes at the expense of the apartment, because at least for me, I skip the apartments where I find these situations outright.
In these cases, shouldn’t VHTV ‘educate’ the tenants better or improve the service?
What do you think about having a forum topic with the list and the findings of the webcams that could improve in terms of position, are hidden, are covered, often have problems, etc. It could probably also be useful for tenants, who often do not know these issues well. In my opinion, it would also improve the visualization of the apartment…
There was a situation whith Capricorn and Aqualibra apartment where we sugggested where we would like to have the cameras place better as some of them were too high placed but no one listened to us.
You are absolutely right about the technical problems: many times I have reported non-working webcams, which had gone down or were frozen. And I must say that the support reported the problem shortly after (or at least it seemed so to me, since after a few minutes, usually everything was back to normal).
My post has a different purpose, as I see it: there are cases where webcams are badly positioned, and this is not good even for the views, which decrease, or they are systematically hidden by video/audio setups of the streams or by curtains that are closed.. in these cases I see them as suggestions for the tenants and a way not to lose views…
if there was only one camera in the room in question . like a bathroom ,then you would have a valid argument under VHTV terms and conditions , but seeing as the rooms you have pointed out have more than one camera ,then suffice to say your complaint will fall on deaf ears. unless the camera was tampered with ,
Generally, the managers are responsible for the camera positions. The camera positions that were set when the apartment was first opened are the ones that remain in use. Therefore, you can easily compare the original positions with the current ones here in the forum, as the original positions are shown in the first post of each topic.
