I don’t think that’s and overstatement. Even though I’m mostly a rock guy myself, I can appreciate that ABBA made some of the finest pop music ever. And they have officially sold over 72 million records. I’d say that is world class!

And when I think about how many rhythms and melodies—even today—were composed by Bennie and Björn, and are reflected in some newer, modern songs. I’m thinking of Madonna—I think it’s “Hung Up”—where the sequence is clearly from ABBA.
