Paul Simon - Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard

Here’s to one of the most creative forum members we have. Hope you don’t mind @Julio137347.

Also, let’s not forget that today is Paul Simon’s birthday. He is turning 84. So Happy Birthday to one of the finest songwriters we have. To Paul Simon :beer_mug:

You have to misunderstand me correctly, but I miss Jennifer at least nearly pretty steadily. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Bob Dylan - Sara

Willis Wataffi - Jeka Zuva

Sara and Jeka

Whether Sara and Jeka are former participants or guests, I don’t know. This is before my time in VHTV. The pic is borrowed from @jabbath1987.

Also I’d like to say Happy Birthday to Sara Dylan, who is turning 86 today. She was married to Bob Dylan from 1965 to 1977. They had four children together, including Jakob Dylan, a fine artist who unfortunately is doomed to walk in the shadow of his father.

Sara Dylan inspired several Dylan songs. When their marriage began to fall apart in the mid 1970’s, she also became the inspiration for his 1975 album Blood On the Tracks, by many (not me) considerd to be Bob Dylan’s best album. So here’s to one of the greatest muses in rock history :beer_mug:

Al Stewart - Carol

An old favourite from Al Stewart, to forum members going by the name Carol. And there is a few!
However, it seems there’s been no participants or guests named Carol

May I also make this a tribute to Tetsu (Free/The Faces), who passed away two days ago at the age of 79.

Well, I have to admit I’m not much of a metalhead, except for the classic stuff from the 1970’s and into the 80’s. Anyways, now we got them covered. Well done!

Huh. In all these new arrivals, this one reminded me of a Nick Cave song I haven’t listened to in ages. Cassiel’s song from the soundtrack of Wim Wenders’ “Faraway, So Close!”, which is a sequel to his famous “Wings of Desire”. And, thinking of it, Wings of Desire is probably the first time I ever heard Nick Cave, though I didn’t take too much notice back then.

Thanks for a great contribution to this topic. Just one thing, it would be nice if you also include a pic of Cassiel.
