Nice song and very nice girl! However, there is no name in the title of the song here, and that’s kind of what this topic is all about. No big deal, but this song would have fit better in the Ricci topic, dedicated to Kendall
Some German schlager for the lovely Joanna
You’ll remember to include a pic of her next time around.
I have attached it.
Matt Monro - Sweet Talking Hannah
Mark Lanegan - I Am the Wolf
Here’s a couple for VHTV’s newest staff member. Hope you don’t mind @Hannah_Wolf
But I’m pleasantly surprised at how many good songs have come together. So far! Cool collection!
Oh yes, it’s a pretty solid collection so far. I am a hopeless music nerd, and thought this was a fun idea when I started this topic back in September 2023. I try to update it on a more or less regular basis, and I’m always glad to see when someone else drops by and posts something.
Beverly Craven - Mollie’s Song
Eastmountainsouth - Mark’s Song
Mollie and Mark, former participants
Thanks to @Eros for the left and middle pic
And since Mark is one of the most perfect lookalikes I’ve ever seen in VHTV, I’ll take the liberty to plug a good Norwegian band here, who did two albums in the late 1980’s. I saw the live a couple of times.
Mercury Motors - John Belushi
Now that you mention it, he does bear quite a resemblance to John Belushi.
Did you know John’s been dead for more than 40 years? Seems like yesterday.
John Lennon has been dead for 45 years. I am still hearing stories about him in different ways today.
Yes, next December it will be 45 years since Lennon was shot. However, it’s a another John we’re talking about here, namely the American actor John Belushi (1949-1982), best known for the movies Animal House (Deltagjengen) and Blues Brothers. You may have heard of him too.
I think his brother James has become a bit better known. I have both of them in pictures.
John Belushi - James Belushi
Well, James has had a long career, with hit TV-shows and dozens of movies, while John’s legacy rests on a couple of classic cult movies, and the fact that he’s yet another talent who tragically died young. So although John is far from forgotten, it’s seems natural that it’s James who’s best known to the general public today.
Of course, John didn’t become so well known because of his short life. I personally only knew him through the cult film, Blues Brothers.
I don`t know so much about John Lennon myself, except a few, few details what concerns how he died. Nothing more than that.
Now, there was The Beatles too
Anyways, let’s leave it at that. It’s still another John who was the theme here
