Vhtv is like a blind man, that have no idea which way to go; the website is complete mess; they promote the site at porn hub and use word “hardcore” at Twitter to describe sex scenes, and at the same time open flats with people like Ken and Barbie ; potential customers must be really confused and most have no clue what they handle with
If the managers are more useless than the contestants, it is impossible for a project to have a minimum level.
But I said it the first day they opened the forum, they are not going to change anything about the project, they are going to keep doing the same thing = keep sinking it.
So a few homophobes take precidence over the majority eh. I am a straight guy but for those gay members that exist they do seem to get a rough deal really. If straight people don’t like watching gay people there is a very simple answer, don’t b___dy watch it, there not that difficult really is it.VH need to cater for all tastes and genders and not discriminate.
Not everybody uses Twitter, for a start i don’t and never have.
Reading the Stephanie thread with people complaining about it being boring because all they do is sit around naked all day makes me so jealous.
If there was an apartment with 5 or 6 hot looking guys and they all sat around naked all the time I would think I had died and was in heaven.
I’m fairly certain after 2 or 3 days of them doing the same as Stephanie you would be complaining that it is boring too.
Talking about gay places even I am not interested in gay sex the girst gay place with Freddy was quite funny. There was a good mood with all the guests visiting and they even had a hot girl stopping by occasionally. The other gay place with the two rather weird guys who attacked themselves with knifes I really did not like…
Trust me I wouldn’t.
The shower cam in that apartment gives an amazing view (I wish all the other apartments has bathroom cam set ups like Stephanies). If all the girls moved out and a bunch of guys moved in I 100% would not complain even after a month.
For me the reason the gay apartments failed was because they only ever had 2 of them.
Very few gay guys are going to pay $40 per month for only 2 gay apartments. Straight guys pay the same price for 35+ apartments.
If the site had 35 gay apartments and 2 straight apartments I’m sure very few straight guys would be paying $40 per month for 2 apartments.
For me it is easy. We won’t lose any straight places by getting gay places. So I am not against that.
You are right that the lack of choice for gay apartments is going to not be to everyone’s liking, take for example on camcaps there was the same thread that VHTV was anti gay/bi but when I pointed out that Poppy was there and being active with guy’s I got in return was something about Poppy being a twink and not worth watching.
Plus I don’t think it is entirely fair to blame VHTV completely because I don’t know and have no evidence to suggest weather if there would be a high enough number of gay men willing to perform on VHTV’s platform.
But they need launch at least 8-10 gay apartments for it to attract people to subscribe. VHTV can’t just have 1 or 2 apartments and then scratch their heads wondering why lots of gay customers aren’t throwing $40 per month at them.
Well I said too that Poppy is annoying and a pain in the ass. Not because that he is gay but he has the attitude to come to a party or meeting and thinks he has always to be the center of attention.
In regards to gay only apartments, I hope this is something VHTV revisits at some point though I also would enjoy more apartments with single guys living together as well. They have had a few apartments like that over the years but not too many. I would think that would be a win-win for them- several guys for the gays to watch, rotating guest girls for the straight guys to watch (and bisexuals get to enjoy both!).
Or maybe a combo apartment with a single woman living with a single gay/bi guy or a straight couple living with a gay couple. Offers something for everyone!
My point at the time wasn’t about his personality it was that I didn’t think it is fair to say something like VH is anti this or that when it was already happening at that time, to me it was irrelevant if he was likeable or not.I know people today have different ideas and it is good to see that the community on this forum has a bigger presence and hopefully VH are paying attention.
I don’t believe VHTV are anti-gay, but I think it’s fair to say that gay participants aren’t a high priority for them.
I do however believe that some of the managers are anti-gay. There was one instance where the manager kicked out a gay participant after a couple of weeks with the manager saying he wasn’t the kind of person they thought he was - the implication being they thought he was straight when they took him on as a participant and kicked him out when it became obvious he was gay.
Amen to that x1000+ …
and thank you for saying it!
Well, I honestly disagree. This is a bussiness in the first place. Gay actors also cost money. If they don´t bring enough money to VHTV, it makes no sense to have them. I agree that there is market for gay content, but it probably needs to be separate. As a gay myself, I honestly refuse to pay anymore from this point. Even if there is an gay apartment included. Why should I pay full price for only one apartment? gay people would get less for the same money, while straight people get much more for that price.
The solution is probably to separate these LGBT+ and straight and focus on bringing more apartments to the LGBT part so it´s worth it. Or it should at least be cheaper.
But to the point, it´s not discrimination at all. It just work like this. The same is when company must hire certain % of women, black people, LGBT so they don´t “discriminate”, but it doesn´t work like that and it can´t. Company must hire the most suitable person for them. And gender, race or sexual orientation are not valid aspects to consider. Just stop implying they discriminate someone and that they need to catter everyone. They really don´t have to do that. They will catter those who bring profit.
You make a valid point but I will say that they couldn’t make it cheaper for the LGBT community because there is no way to verify the users, after all there are people out there who would say that they are X Y or Z just to exploit it and get a cheaper rate weather if it is true or not.
Maybe there is a way. Two separate sites with separate subscription. If, by any chance, gay content appears on “straight” site, it can be made available in the archive on the gay site. And ofcourse, vice-versa.
