There is a part in this whole discussion that I haven’t heard anyone discuss yet and that is what do lesbians think about all this, since they are a group in their own right as well.

I’d love to see one more lesbian apartment. Nina & Kira is dead. And we only have Kira & Emily. Montana & Eva only play lesbians
does “legal sex” include lesbians? I was thinking so…

I think if you are going to market a site to a specific audience, in this case a gay audience, you are more likely to attract them to join if you can sell them a site that is gay only. So when they preview the archive it shows them page after page of male only videos, when they first look at the free cams it isn’t a naked girl sat on the kitchen table with her legs spread apart.
Once they can clearly see that the (gay) site has the content that interests them and they subscribe, then you can start offering them the full package.
But if you start by trying to sell them the full package they are likely to be put off with what they could perceive as a mainly straight site with a bit of gay content.

Please forgive my total confusion with this apparently very deep (quite rightly so) conversation but can some please clarify…is it being said that there will be a separate site for gay content … and if so when is it likely to happen?

Yes but I found that so many ‘backs and forths’ with the conversation made it rather confusing! It left me wondering if they were saying it will happen.
If you ignore the word “if” VHTV said it would happen tomorrow.
But seriously, VHTV have quite rightly not committed to any timescales. But reading between the lines, it sounds to me very much at the thinking about it stage, so I wouldn’t expect it anytime soon, I would be shocked if it happened this year.

I wasn’t meaning lesbian apartments directly, I was meaning what do lesbians who watch VHTV think about the idea of the whole topic of having reduced fees or splitting up different content for specific groups.

Oh absolutely. After they closed down the 2 gay apartments a few years ago, I had come to terms with gay apartments on VHTV never happening again. But this discussion and the words of VHTV on this thread give me real hope.

The system we build at VHTV is intended to “reward” those apartments that are being watched. In the case of gay apartments, the viewership is much lower than straight, and that makes such apartments earn much lower than others. That what we ran into when running our experiment with launching two gay apartments in the past. That gives an idea of creating separate subscription/website for gay apartments, where the whole pool of money the subscribers pay will be distributed between specific apartments there.

I wouldn’t complain if some of the current straight guys on VHTV started to “play gay”
