Even worse than that in a village you know, can get very interesting
Iâm originally from a village and everybody knew everything about everybody else and all family history. You almost couldnât fart without someone knowing . I donât think it is intentionally being nosey itâs just that everyone grew up together in a very tightknit community and everybody knew everybody else, literally.
I have lived now in a town for years now and whilst the same thing does exist itâs not in such a widespread way. You only really know most people well generally, in local areaâs. Obviously you know some in other parts as well depending on how you mix.
Many people these days seem to be more insular and donât mix as much as they used to.
Ha ha but in a very small community it is very difficult to keep most things that secret. Where i was brought up was in a small fishing village and to be honest, compared to these days it was a lovely upbringing i must admit.
Often wish i still lived there but am not far away so still visit regularly and keep in touch.
Sad thing is many of my generation are long time passed now, some very young to.
Then they do say the good ones die young
I donât write much but I read almost everything and I think you are the wisest guy on this forum, âŚalso very funny
I will take that as a very nice complement pal thank you.
I do have a few serious moments but thy donât last long
Ever seen the TV show âBig Brotherâ?
I still donât know all my neighbours in this small cul-de-sac of 20 houses, and Iâve lived here for over 35 years⌠mind you, most of the neighbours are now ânewâ, so I guess that I can be forgiven to some extent. ???
Out of the 20 houses, only 2 or 3 other âneighboursâ were living here 35 years ago⌠my ânext-doorâ neighbours have changed 3 times on one side and twice on the other side in that time.
This is what is referred to as a âcathedral cityâ. There are many cities without a cathedral. City status is granted by the monarch, upon application by a particular town to be granted âcity statusâ (not all applications in a year are granted).
As of 22 November 2022, there were 76 cities in the United Kingdom â 55 in England, seven in Wales, eight in Scotland, and six in Northern Ireland. Another in England was added in the following year.
Always has to be at least one smartass around, the trouble is heâs fucking right.- - - - - - - - - - -S__t
Thank you very much for your explanation. As is said, we always learn
This is true, but itâs only one type of lens flare. There are others.
In this article, go to, âTypes of Lens Flareâ, and read about âVeilingâ.
Looks like we are back to âcontent is not being added to the archiveâ and âmany realms are just here for clicksâ IMO!!
We have certainly had someâŚhow do I put this?..interesting conversations on this forum (various parts of it) since we first âmetâ, havenât we?!!
Mind you donât get bitten by those moles, whilst the rest of us are climbing to relative safety, up the mountains!
They only look like b___dy mountains on Virges 83" screen thatâs the problem
I am not even sure I know what 83 inches looks like.
Thatâs even bigger than i am
I donât even know what 9" looks like pal sorry to lower the tone
I bet Virge even catches fish bigger than anybody else
WELL if you add 80 inches to you pecker then you will get a rough estimate
That might be getting a bit nearer to the truth pal
