He has over 1300 posts just for today! I don’t know what time zone he’s in, but that’s about half a day, give or take. I can’t imagine anyone making 1300 posts in a full day let alone a half day.
That explains why he’s been “liking” every post in the forum.
They are not posts, they are points that are awarded for reading/writing posts and giving/receiving likes.

Even 1300 in a week is some going surely, that’s 185 a day
Nobody is posting that many, I would bet that the top posters on here are probably doing 40 posts a day
Yeah I regularly see 40 odd notifications a day when I log in recently
I have somewhat well over 1000 posts in total, so I guess I could really learn a thing or two about shutting up I suppose. 
Yes but they are not all from the same member, i probably see a similar amount but many of what i see i probably ignore a majority of them as many apartments i just don’t bother with.
After all it is mostly all the same content.
I got 47 notifications this morning when I logged in 40 was likes from Eros, also You get notifications from apartments you don’t follow? You can turn them off if you don’t want them for that apartment
I 100 percent agree with you in that view. Absolutely. 
I watch all of them, as most of them change hands very regulary so i don’t bother about keep changing settings it’s easier to just ignore them as and when.
