Watching Dune: Prophecy. It’s a passable show, not more.
I can say that Frank Herbert’s Dune is probably my favorite novel. Not saying it’s the best novel ever written, but it resonated with me and was quite influential when I first read it as a youngster. I really like Denis Villeneuve’s new movie adaptations, he made some tough but ultimately good calls adapting this almost unfilmable novel for the big screen.
Dune: Prophecy however, that prequel series set thousands of years before the events fo Dune, is unfortunately adapted from one the many novels that Frank’s son Brian Herbert wrote together with hack-for-hire Kevin J. Anderson. They simply don’t understand Dune. I have completely given up on them after the first few.

Yes agreed with you about Prophesy I saw all episodes and only last one didn’t… Before it I was Enjoyed 2 parts of Villeneuve.
