I have made four video archive requests for events in Medea’s realm, so far two have not been picked-up and have been closed, the other two are awaiting to be picked -up by an M/O, but looking at what is happening I doubt these will be archived, I made these requests so that others can view them, as I can record the event as it happens. It seems to me that M/O have no interest in certain realms and won’t save the archive requests.

Two requests were made three days ago but were not picked-up. And they were automatically closed.
I picked them up but there were errors with saving. The system closes them automatically after three days. Really not my fault 
Would be good to let us know when there is a problem, then we wouldn’t be making accusations about M/O’s not saving archive requests. 
Sorry sometimes we are busy too. I actually helped them with ideas to solve it…
I guess in this rare circumstances would it be ok for him to check a pirate site for the moments he requested to be saved but weren’t.
There were a couple moment in the past that I personally requested to be saved but for some reason weren’t. To my surprise they were on the pirate sites saved in full.
I find the clips gallery rather stale as there’s mostly the favourites of the MO’s being saved and nothing else because they don’t like a particular realm. VHTV said a while ago that improvements are being made to improve the way they are saved by taking it out of their hands but as usual it seems to take forever to do anything here.
It is true that most of the moments saved to the archives are favorites of the Moments Operators, but can you blame them? Why wouldn’t they save their favorite moments? I have found if I put a request in for a moment to be saved the majority of the time it will be. A lot of times users complain about moments not being saved but don’t put requests in to have the moments saved. 
Not great for promoting the site if there’s not variety in the gallery, just proves how lazy VHTV are by not getting it done by themselves, but of course that means money to pay someone to do it, I don’t know why I’m getting involved as I rarely go to the gallery, only to check when a past participant to see what to expect when they come back.
The one and only time i submitted a request, it was never picked up and archived. And it closed after 3 days.
And there were no problems as other requests were being processed. It makes it look like MOs have their picks and bits

Maybe you accidentally filled out the request form incorrectly? I see a lot of people filling out the request form improperly.

There seems little point to me bothering to try to get videos saved for the archive, So in future I will just record them for myself.
What requests are you talking about? If you mean realm31 I saved everything there.
Well you never saved my requests as is evident here. There has been no notification from any M/O referring to these requests.
All three requests got saved. Somehow I did not get a notification of new requests in that category. But I basically saved them anyways right after they happened. So calm down now and in the future first take a look in the archives before accusing people of ignoring your requests… 
Kindly don’t tell me to calm down when I am not agitated, I am just stating what I see, and my accusation has some grounding, as one assumes that the archiving system works correctly, and if I see that the autobot has closed the request, and I have not had any notifications from a M/O, why would I look in the archives for something that I assume has not been saved.
You don’t have to look far for new clips in the archive. They are actually right on the home page of the archive in date order. So it’s quite manageable without filtering for long.
So don’t always complain, but first see if the clip hasn’t already arrived.
