Do you suppose he’ll take up residence here for a few weeks or more? The food here may make him reluctant to leave. And the walk to the kitchen is very short.

I think everyone is overlooking the probable reason for his persistent sluggishness. It’s likely because it’s difficult for his blood flow to make it to his brain.
