So sieht man wenigstens Dixie ![]()
parce que je viens de changer le nom de Dixie par Lilu ! ![]()
For anyone who doesnât know, or is new here:
I spoke to Seb and Ariela about this back then and learned the following:
Unlike in other countries, there are no dedicated heating plants there; instead, the hot water is a âby-productâ of regional industry. And whenever maintenance work takes placeâusually once a year for one or two weeksâhouseholds are left without hot water⊠so it looks like that time has come around againâŠ
âFun factâ⊠Ariela was doubly unlucky back then: the maintenance work at their old apartment happened just before they moved, and then again at the new apartment shortly after they moved inâŠ
Ridiculous in times like that. We are no longer living in the 1800s ![]()

Well, if it worksâand you donât want to overhaul an entire cityâs pipeline network⊠![]()
It could get interesting ifâor whenâlocal industry suddenly gets âvisitsâ more or less frequently and shuts downâŠ
a side effect that many of us probably havenât even considered.
Fundamentally, I donât think the idea is stupid at all: the heat is already there, so why not use it instead of generating new heat?
I think the mistake lies in how the system evolved alongside the cityâs expansion: small, decentralized âislandsâ of apartment blocks were created where this kind of solution made sense.
However, the various heat sources should have been gradually interconnected into a unified network; redundancy simply wasnât taken into account.
HI JonR,
Have you heard anything recent about Ariela?
How is she getting on?
Has she been to visit Ubaldo & BO?
Does she plan to return to VHTV? On her own or with someone? ![]()
I canât find any trace of her on the websites where she used to appear as a model!
Whatâs happened to her ![]()
oui la classe , représentante indispensable sur VHTV
March this year is the last time I saw her in print but not sure how long ago they were taken.
She has been here several times to visit. I donât remember if March was the last time!
