We have what I would like to call norwegianised words taken from english. Very usual actually.

I can give some concrete examples. The word date in english which means stevnemøte in norwegian. That is directly norwegianised to deit. The word scoring in football is directly norwegianised to skåring. Also some words which is very similar. For example the word paper. That means papir in norwegian. Or for example the word boat. That means båt in norwegian. As you all can observe very similar.
