Most modern phones wouldn’t be affected even if they did drop it in the water

I was wondering if they are waterproof.

I used to have an old submarine-size mobile that had stickers made out of rubber, to make it outdoor-survival-safe against dust and water.

Colleague of mine accidently dropped hers into the toilet the other day, and it was a hassle to get the data back, that were not stored in a cloud.
