En Europa se conoció a “El chavo del 8”?. Era un programa que tenía, entre sus personajes, al señor Barriga, que todos los días iba a la vecindad del Chavo a cobrar la renta a uno de sus inquilinos (Don Ramón) porque lo vivía esquivando y le adeudaba tonelada de dinero.

I really don’t get the use of these “landlords”.
You rent an apt, at that time it’s your responsibility. I know VHTV “works together” with participants and landlords but I don’t understand the reason why…
If there’s a technical issue, VH sends experts. So wtf are these landlords even doing? As long as they pay the rent everything should be fine?

The landlord in the UK normally wouldn’t have any right to be in the house or even visit them.
As long as they pay the rent it’s their property and their own space.

In USA they have the right to visit in case of hazardous conditions , complaint of others tenants & to collect the rent.Usually both sign agreement (lease) & contains what is imposed by the county for tenants over 6 apartments. Under 6 they sign a private agreement

In Germany, the landlord has the right to inspect an apartment if he has a good reason for doing so. However, he must announce his visit in writing in advance.

Even that would not be allowed in Germany.
It may be that the tenant does not pay his rent for x months. You then have to sue him out of the apartment with the court and the police.
This is simply not true. Vhtv has nothing to do with the apartments and landlords.
Again, that’s not the case. Vhtv works remotely. Anything to do with the physical equipment inside the apartments, it’s managers and tenants responsibility.
They do have right to visit the apartments.
This one is so far my most favorite!
