The job and role of Moment operators

This month till now i have 574 moments saved… So you are saying that i’m not willing to do my “job”?

At least we know that vhtv still care about users.

Willing to means they are fairly happy about doing it and will do it if they are asked or required to do .according to dictionary.

And i’m fairly happy doing it on the established conditions on day one by VH (mentioned few posts above by other MO)

Well, I have nothing against the operators. But you are selling a premium service that includes archiving.

So to me, I expect to get what I am paying for.

I can agree that the operators do what they feel because they aren’t contractually paid. But the company should have staff members to pick up any slack, as we pay for a service!

Well someone have asked MO(not you) and he/she said no because he/she doesn’t like their behavior, manager or whatever . that’s not “willing to” according to dictionary.

I don’t think blaming Moment Operators is justified in this case as it is VHTV who made this system and it is us to blame for that. In the same time, it is us who created and maintain the voluntary system…

You are right. In the same time, we never promised Archive updates at all! Never in our terms.

Can’t agree more .

For the sake of this site.

For me.

You advertise it as a part of your package. So if it is not your terms. You are falsely advertising as you sell two different packages.

Yeah, we advertise access to archive moments. And that is that

I don’t want this thread to continue with terms discussion, we all agree that archive moments are expected to be updated on regular basis with newer content as we have a lot of stuff happening.

Soooozzzzzzzzzz! You sell a standard option where you have no access to the archive. And you sell and promote premium with the archive.

So you can’t advertise a product, charge for it and then turn around and say, it’s not in our terms.

Sounds like you’re stealing folks money then.

1,730 archive videos have been saved this month and many more will be added in the next 10 days. It’s not like you are paying for a service and getting nothing. You are getting access to over 190,000 videos.

Because for you (and others), MO “job” is one thing when the reality is very far away from it.

If we dive into that, we sell access to archive moments for Premium members. That’s what we do, and that are the terms of sale which we comply with. I think you are either misreading my messages. But the fact is, there is no legal obligation from us to update the archives. In the same time, we do update those with full help from Moments Operators and it will be the same way going forward.

I have some sweet dreams on semi-automation of this concept, but given our “famous” development speeds, I’m keeping those dreams for a while.

To be clear - like I said, I have no issues with operators.

Recently, we were up to a week where it was not updated, and no communication. But I spoke with @sparkles and it was sorted.

What I am trying to convey is that the response given by VHTV is unacceptable and should choose their words carefully. Sometimes they act like we aren’t paying for a service, and they needed to be reminded.

Some MO can save 574 moments in 23 days .

So it’s not very far away from reality.

My two cents on this topic is that the problem is most likely because there are so many houses to keep track of, and only so many moment operators, that unless they are some 400-pound nerd confined to bed in their parents’ basement somewhere in Russia (in the words of one ignorant American politician), they can’t keep track of everything that happens at every house 24 hours a day - that’s why I always check the timeline at the bottom of the video feed for all of my favorite houses, they stay on there for about 12 or more hours, so if I miss something I can always find it somewhere. And you know, I learned some time ago that if you really want something saved to the video archive, you can request it by noting the house, the day and the time, which you can find in the time stamp on the upper left hand corner of your video feed. So, I think this is really a non-issue. Well, that’s my opinion, anyway.

Ya think so? I am actually weighing up if I should waste my energy from a litigation stance in proving you wrong. Especially since it was exposed that the company is not Russian Registered.

The arrogance gets my back up, from the way you speak with people here.

You can request a video but if they don’t like their behavior or the apartment is not their favorite they won’t save it. That’s the problem here.

@VHTV_James above in the topic has said that new moment operators will be added so hopefully this will help solve any issues that members have
