On a serious note (yes, I can be serious too), I understand this July theme to be not solely about the parties, but also about a general summer vibe throughout July. Which means there is room for imagination and finding summer themes in the apartments all the time, even if there is no parties.
Sure, it’s a bummer when announced parties turn out rather lacklustre (to put it mildly). And it is becoming a bit on an overkill from VHTV’s side about this themed contests. Still the theme this time seems to be more general, so I for one will make the best of it. July is my favourite month of the year. It is slow and lazy, and I like slow and lazy
@Helia I just want to give a compliment for the campaign image featuring Shana, who is the perfect model for this generated scene. I keep coming back to it because I really like it. And even if AI probably did most of the heavy lifting behind it, the final result is exactly my taste. The mood, the aesthetics, the colors, and the way all the elements come together are simply perfect!
I agree! For some reason, the June and July events aren’t going over well with the participants. At least, not many people are getting into the themes. The only one who always manages to whip up some decorations is Aora. But I wouldn’t exactly call it a real themed party. Maybe there are just too many different themes in a very short period of time. And that way, the participants don’t focus on one big party theme, like they do with Helloweem or similar events.
That raises the question: Are these really the right party themes? Are there too many events? Or have the participants just gotten a little tired of partying? Because I feel like there are already gatherings of several people almost every weekend, somewhere in an apartment. For example, people are always getting together at Henry’s or Aora’s place. So why have another themed party?
I am saying that for a long time. VHTV fails to motivate the particpants and there are way too many of these kind of contests. Participants need to invest money and are not sure to even win.
We should do smaller and more easy to implement contests. For example like my little contest about summer outfits.
