Subscription notifications - a bit of a rant!

Please forgive me but I feel the need to go on a bit of a rant with this…

Once again, I have recieved the following email notification telling me my subscription is due for renewal.

Nothing wrong with that in itself, however:

Note that the opening greeting line is “dear VHTV viewer”. This seems so unnecessarily impersonal. Why can’t they simply use my name? They have it on record so it wouldn’t be all that difficult.

Also, why oh why do they insist upon writing the date the wrong way around? It looks as if I have until October until my subscription runs out but it actually happens tomorrow.

VHTV (if you have taken the time to read this), PLEASE will you sort these simple things out… it really isn’t rocket science, is it?! :roll_eyes:

It’s the american way to write dates. As there are probably a lot of them here i can at least understand why they do it. But i can understand your point, i always have to think twice, especially as this date format is also used on the cams.
