At the moment I only have the problem when the forum updates, the stream hangs for 1-2 seconds…
I’ve had this problem for a couple of years now. I’m on a really slow and fragile DSL connection, so I figured that was the problem. There’s another thread on here on the same subject, so the problems I see aren’t solely due to my crappy connection.
You can assume that the problem lies with VHTV. Sometimes things get better, sometimes worse. There’s an up and down, although it’s relatively stable at the moment, but small dropouts happen every now and then.

We certainly lack quality reports on each time someone experiences streaming/website problems. This is usually what VHTV Support requests one to provide, but due to how this data needs to be collected, majority of respondents just skip it and either bear with the problems, or they resolve themselves (even by customer quitting the service).
There may be streaming problems at VHTV side, but we need operative and quality data on client’s side. You can request the “questionnaire” via VHTV Support and send it back to them. Video/Screen of the issue is much appreciated too.

Personally, i haven’t experienced any streaming/website problems for a long period of time now.
I probably belong to the group of customers who accept the problems. The current problems are too small to bother the support. But thank you for the feedback.

When I experience lag problems with VHTV most often it’s easy to fix by deleting the cookies, restarting the browser and logging back in. Therefore I’ve set my browser to automatically delete all cookies when quitting the program, with a few website-specific exceptions.

Well though I glad it works for you, it makes no sense at all from website state of things. We could certainly dive into finding out what’s going on at your side to see if we can help preventing this from happening for you.
In case the new information helps us identifying the issue which may affect others, we do reward our viewers with extra days.
Every small problem for you may be a big problem for others. Especially when dealing with live streaming, which sometimes is just not compatible with certain “slow” devices like old/outdated/cluttered PCs or corresponding mobile devices. They just throttle under load and this results in overall bad experience.
And yeah, there always “last mile” problem which may be your ISP fault, but those are easier to swap to other provider than trying to make them fix their problem. In most cases they just don’t bother…

Well, I suspect the lag issues I sometimes experience with VHTV might stem from some problem with my router or ISP. I’m no expert on this. Maybe that trick may help people who experience problems similar to mine…

Since I also have other streaming services running on my PC (particularly TV streaming) and there are no problems whatsoever, I can actually rule out that it’s my online provider or my hardware if VHTV has small dropouts every now and then. Actually, everything else is going very well for me.
Now at night there are no more jumps on VHTV either. Probably because fewer people are accessing the service I suspect.
In the afternoon it was more extreme. The stream was running and when I refreshed the forum page the stream paused for 2-3 seconds. the forum update also stalled at the same time and then everything went back to normal. The error then reappeared with each subsequent update. Sometimes short, (1-2 seconds) and sometimes longer (2-3 seconds).
I think the server is just overloaded at certain times. But I’m not an IT expert and don’t know much about it. I’m happy when I keep my own computer running. 
Of course, if the problems get worse I’ll contact support and hope it gets better, but for now I’m quite happy. 
For me it’s mostly smooth all the time. If not you can be sure I will report it.
