There is definitely no need to apologize to me. You weren’t really doing anything wrong and it sounds like you didn’t even realize you were posting duplicates of pics people had already posted. Now you know to check. Sorry if I came off a little harsh.
just a comment from me: whether and how a reduction in the amount could look like: I would be in favor of a number that is divisible by 3…
after all, 3 are always displayed next to each other in gallery mode, and 1 or 2 in the last row makes for optically bad karma
If there is a limit enf___ed then it is an “up to” limit so wouldn’t matter if the limit was 10 or 12 if that person only posts 5 or 7 pics you would get the last row appearing as you put optically bad karma
But I have some doubts as to whether a limit is really useful. in the end someone will e.g. create 3 posts with 10 pictures each instead of one post with 30 pictures… and nothing has changed
I’m confused right now cause I got called out for posting the same pics and I stopped but after I stopped I see forum users posting the same pics in some of the realms topics of what’s happening and nobody once said u can’t post them what the crap
C’mon what’s the difference with me when I post the same pics?
I don’t think I was treated fair
I just want to get that off my chest and I don’t want to upset anybody with this post I’m going to let it go I just want to follow the rules and respect everybody on here
VHTV said for us to flag posts that contain duplicate pictures under the Something Else category. Are you flagging the posts?
If you don’t flag the posts VHTV won’t know there is a problem. I hope that helps.
Normally whether you use other software to capture or you use the inbuilt VH option (top right hand corner) to capture you always save picture by picture which is normal.
Even if you use the clipboard you can normally only store single files before pasting them elsewhere.
Never heard of capturing multiple pictures before saving them.
Maybe I don’t understand your question correctly, but maybe this is what you want to know…
Save full screen directly as PNG file
You may want Windows to take full-screen screenshots (that is, images of the entire monitor display) and save them directly to a folder as a PNG file.
This is already available as a standard function in Windows 10 (and also in Windows 11, by the way). Instead of pressing PrintScreen, use the key combination Windows key+PrintScreen. The screenshots end up directly in the form of PNG files in the folder %userprofile%\Images\Screenshots
multiple clicks on produce multiple images. nothing has been saved as a file at this point. afterwards you can scroll through the pictures with the arrows and save whatever you want as a file.
So yes to make several shots without saving directly, but no to save them all together at the end.
