it looks like we’re having a mix of “very active community” (wow, 28 votes, really?), small pinch of “nobody gives a fuck”, and some grains of Functionality/UX/UI inconveniences.
I would suggest we keep things how they are right now & keep it sane and accessible to any readers.
The poll became very hard to find after a day or two. It got buried in a sea of comments. If the poll could have been pinned to the top of the forum topic like the best apartment polls I think we would have had a lot more participation.
Maybe we could redo the poll but this time make it easier for users to find? The forum has been much more enjoyable to use now that every topic isn’t cluttered up with copious amounts of giant pictures collages.
The poll was not hard to find for me while I haven’t been reading the whole conversation. The topic itself is eye-catching and whoever was/is interested in it could express their opinion on it. That just shows the scale of how it comes down to ~18 people who express inconveniences with many images in one post. This brings me the re-assurance we go with the scenario of talking to people, introducing them to your and community experience, and, therefore, making us all more connected to each other.
Again, we will seek the ways to make the media experience much better than it is now.
That is true, but I have found that with many things there is often a few who will voice their opinion and many more who share that opinion but choose to remain silent. That goes for both the people for and against.
Maybe but like you said unless they say something we will never know. Sometimes a small bribe helps. Like what you do with the free days or coins with the best apartment polls.
I bet if a small reward was added for participation the results would increase tenfold or more.
That it not true. The results show that the majority of the people that voted do not want unlimited pictures. 71% of the people that voted do not want unlimited pics. VHTV said that he doesn’t feel enough people participated in the poll. Therefore rather than complain I gave suggestions as to how to solve the problem of low participation.
If VHTV chooses not to act on my suggestions that is fine by me, but at least I tried to help solve the problem. I don’t see anyone else offering suggestions on how to solve the problem of low poll participation. It would be nice if more people were willing to try to help rather than do nothing at all…
I uploaded this not to show that I have fast internet with high nodes, but that I have connected it directly to my PC. Whereas before I didn’t have it and it was much slower than the Router signal,
Let me note here that I do have fast internet and I am not obstructing the Forum this was the only reason because I had uploaded a lot of photos once…and there was a complaint about it
Now I upload about 10 -12 and the issue is over
Thanks !
PS I think I have respect for you and I would expect the same from you and no funny photos please… I am not an expert, nor am a ignorant either, nor a 15 year old… Thanks again !!
PS 2 It would look nice to have your name after the project team… for my records. The project Team have my name in your records!! Thanks again
PS 3. Dear Project team…this is nothing personal to you nor anybody.
Please accept my apologies as I misread the VHTV response and thought that the poll results were binding. I have re read the response and feel that your response to VHTV was proportionate in attempting to re run the poll to attract more participants.
FFS is this stupid and pathetic argument still going on about duplicate piccys, some people sure like to split hairs as to what is or is not a duplicate picture just to prove a b___dy silly point, more to themselves no doubt than anybody else.
Get a b___dy life you lot for gods sake.
