The translator was unable to translate ponytale, so it only stood as ponytale also in the norwegian translation. 
It should be ponytail.

The translator - at least mine - struggles enormously with creative ways with the words. It only accepts the literal way. Literally. To my frustration. Because I like being somewhat creative.

A tale is a story that’s told.
A tail is the rear part of most animals, some languages use it as a sinonim for dick.

the best results i get with translate.google.com.
‘i have a ponytale’ comes out corrected in german.
with my once wrong written german word ‘Mehrjungfrau’ i got ‘polyvirgin’.
correct is ‘Meerjungfrau’ - mermaid.
so it is quite a good one, that translater.
May be you should look for an early version of a translator
