I have noticed that participants on VHTV eat a lot of American junk food such as hamburgers and fast food delivery pizza.
So communism wasn’t that bad because I’m pretty sure they didn’t eat such junk food during soviet time

Ask older East German people who lived in German Democratic Republic. Most of them miss former GDR republic and they didn’t eat junk food there like in West Germany.

People who lived under soviet rule had a healthier lifestyle
Prior to junk food, people were quite limited to what they could eat and not all of it was healthy either. It’s a matter of choice and thankfully there is a lot on offer today. Some cheaper manufactured foods have also prevented starvation in some parts of the world.

Anybody with more than two braincells doesn’t want to return to communism. Be it in Russia or Germany.
So capitalism brought junkfood. And that is unhealthy. Sure. Communism was extremely unhealthy. Especially if you had a free mind. Every system has its pros and cons. But don’t tell me communism in de SSSR (CCCP) wasn’t that bad because the food was better.
Ask older East German who lived in former East Germany republic, most of them wish to return to communism.
Putin said that the collapse of USSR was the biggest tragedy in 20 century.
I saw a survey from 2014 (Der Spiegel). 54% of the elderly indeed voted that the German Democratic Republic had some pros. I guess that is most. But return to communism? No. Besides, most of them would be dead by now.

What Putin meant was the collapse of the USSR was a tragedy for Russia and and the former member countries because at first it caused major ecomical problems and some countries even fell into poverty for some time after it. And he was right with saying that.
