Unfortunate that you chose to focus on that fact and in effect, re-inforce the point but I get your meaning and appreciate the rest of the comment. 
minorities are important! if the majority only looked at the world from one perspective, a lot would be lost. minorities (not in a negative sense) provide other perspectives…
…unfortunately, most minorities are often just trolls and complainers… that makes all the ‘davids’ more important

I don’t consider myself (specifically) important in the grand scheme of things but yes, as you rightly say, minorities are important and for the reasons you have mentioned.
