I’m just curious about rent? Do the participants have to pay rent or any bills or do they get rent free and all bills paid? It sure seems like a lot of water usage.
Yes, they pay the bills and rent themselves. Water in Russia is not expensive - about $ 1 per cubic meter.
The water is really cheap. In Germany you pay a lot more for it.
Depending on the region where you are between 4 and 6€
We pay 3€ per cubic meter for water
In the UK a lot of people just pay a fixed monthly charge for unlimited water. So we pay the same whether we use no water at all or run the taps constantly.
I added the cost of the waste water too… So where I Iive it’s 4,50€ per m³
Not very environment friendly…
It’s the way it’s always been so people are used to it and don’t a___e it. I just use the water I need & don’t keep taps running all the time & most others are the same.
Some homes have water meters installed where they pay for what they use. My Dad has a water meter, and I wouldn’t say his water usage habits were any different to me who doesn’t have one.
We pay here for waste water ca. 3€ per m³
…and light and television are on even if there is no people in the apartment.
Big waste of energy and not good for the envirement.
