But how much simultaneous access to the 360° camera can the technology handle? Couldn’t the internet connection be extremely strained with live images if many people access this technology at the same time and everyone is turning in different directions?
The camera will merge everything into one data stream. Which would need a bit more bandwidth for sure. I would say about 3 or 4 times the bandwidth of one normal camera. But I think not really worth it.

As all the 360 information is always there this would not be a problem. Everybody could get the view he or she likes. The data stream always contains the information of 360 degrees field of view for everybody.
This is the difference from a PTZ camera. This is just a normal camera which can Pan, Tilt and Zoom on demand.

In any case, switching to a different or even better camera technology at Vhtv will be a long journey, if I understand Kaya correctly.
However, some issues regarding poor camera positions or angles would be eliminated if the 360° or 180° options were introduced.

Sure. 360 cameras are more expensive than normal ones.
