Any chance you can make a pictures and videos only topic for each apartment that maybe sucks out the pictures and videos automatically as they are posted? Scrolling though thousands of posts to see them is not ideal.

It’s a good idea as long as they put it behind a members only authentication check, so the freeloaders don’t get to see all the s__t we have to pay for.
I mean a place for pics and videos posted in the forum. The archive doesn’t have these.
They are already posted here for anyone to see.
photos and videos are posted by community members at will, why else create topics for purely photos and videos? Perhaps they will be taken out of context. It’s like guys, I posted a photo there, but we will discuss it here.

Exactly. Makes not much sense
Most of the pictures are just snaps taken without much relevance or commentary.
Well, maybe a community member has such a hobby to post pictures in the theme of the apartment.
No one would have to do anything. The system can just siphon them into a pool per apartment as they are posted into the topic. No one is stealing anything. The pictures are already there. Try scrolling back through a 5000 post topic. It’s not a great experience going back in time on this forum.
What’s the point?
all this needs to be configured, who will do it and why?

I don’t care much to read a lot of posts. Sometime it’s nice to just catch a glimpse of the pics to get an idea what’s happening. Like a picture story instead of the chatter. I’m not asking anyone to do anything, just a way for the pictures and videos already posted to be viewable in a topic of its own per apartment.
I just wish when guys post 10 photos they would do it in an album, scrolling through them is a pain in the ass. I see no reason for a picture and videos only topic.
I wish the opposite. A picture story with little or not comments. To each their own.
I have the advantage that I can simply go back into the timeline should I wish to see the scene so having to see 10 photos not in an album tends to be annoying. Simple enough to put them in an album.

Can only go back 48 hrs or the video archive. Here you can go back to scan for pics and videos but it’s a hassle.
Oh wait I think 24hrs back. I don’t have a sub. Not sure.
A good idea could also be to be able to put likes for the archived videos and also to be able to sort them to this.
This is a good idea which I’ve been exploring since forum launch. I don’t like the idea of media-topics separation, and would like to make forum create galleries based on topics/categories which may be explored in separate linked entities without a need to post relevant stuff in two different places. No success for now as you can see, but we may be getting to it someday
