Oscar & Pearl

People write emotional comments because they somehow like Oskar and Pearl, and they probably feel cheated by what's happening and what they're watching. I don't condone insulting or attacking anyone in any way. But censorship and banning discussion aren't a good solution, in my opinion.

If they feel cheated by that they might better look for help for mental health. How can one even think of such a thing? :man_shrugging::exploding_head:

It works similarly to identifying with characters in a movie or TV series. I don’t know the details of how it works, but I know that many people experience it. There’s also a discrepancy between the words and the image, which can further intensify the effect. I’m not a psychologist, but I read about this once

Of course, criticism is allowed in the forum.
Jabbath already explained it.
However, I think it’s wrong to criticize the relationship between participants, especially when you know they are reading along in the forum.
Relationship problems are always a private matter. Therefore, they shouldn’t be discussed in the forum. We weren’t asked for advice and therefore shouldn’t offer any. And insults towards anyone involved should be avoided altogether.
