Well it depends upon wether or not she is sitting down. if she is, then I suspect it’s what would be the slightly raised part of the cushioned area of the couch / chair OR if she is standing, just take away the ‘c’ and 'the ‘h’ from the chair!

Believe me, there are similar terms in the USA, and depending on where you are, you will quickly learn them. I have relatives there.
In the UK, I was in families that were too well-behaved and perhaps still too young, so they tried to be decent.
