I had the same thought about this picture. Very sad. Especially because Amelie has such a charming smile.
But it’s clear that they can’t all be over the shock yet. And that it will probably take a long time for the wounds to heal.
Especially not when the fucking war is costing more victims every day. Until then, there will probably always be dark images.
Despite this and for this reason, I send you my deepest hugs and lots of love from afar.
