Oscar & Pearl, Betta

I thought this was a very funny expression.

Thanks to @PacerColtsFan181062 for the original to play with

That’s the problem with AI, it’s an ‘all or nothing’ result.

Using Photoshop (without its own recent AI additions - some of which are OK but not all of them), you can go with a ‘halfway’ look. By that I mean halfway between the look of the original and the full AI one used here and it can be made to look rather more natural.

Having said that, Photoshop is HUGE and takes some time to learn properly.

Just a thought.

That depends on the AI software. I can’t buy software, so I have to take what I can find for free. I’ve used AI software on my computer, which gives varying degrees of enhancement, similar to Photoshop, I imagine.

I am curious, though, what you mean by unnatural. If you look at the before and after video you can see that her eyes are wide open in both versions, and her mouth is the same shape in both versions, as well. It couldn’t do much with her chin, since it was so blurry to start with in the original.

The software eliminated all the noise and artifacts, sharpened it a bit, brightened it a bit and let her face shine through. Everything that was in the original is still in the edited version, only better looking.

Sorry to take so long to get back to you on this.
