How much longer will the name Oscar remain in the apartment’s title? I can’t imagine it ever coming back now.

No, we don’t have to. And in my view, it wasn’t a malicious question either. Since this would certainly interest many people.
It’s also clear that we can’t give each other answers on this matter. We can only wait and see.
Still, on this topic, people should be allowed to voice their thoughts. Even if it might be a bit uncomfortable. And even though everything is rosy for the new couple right now, and they’re on cloud nine. And I wish them all the best. There can still be things in this topic that people can discuss in a stress-free and polite way. Just like in all other topics.

No, we shouldn’t bring up the whole issue again. I agree with you on that. Instead, we should treat them both with respect.
And no, we don’t know the truth—why things turned out this way. And because we don’t know the truth, some questions remain unanswered.
But we also know that we can’t answer those questions ourselves. We’ll just have to wait and see if we ever get answers—or if we don’t.
