Oh thanks pal, agreement reached eh
You have a look at rural houses in the States and they are nearly always built of wood and the state of them when a fire has occurred and the whole building has been burnt to the ground, nothing left at all except ash.
Yes they are no doubt warmer inside but they will be a b___dy sight more warmer after a fire
I have abit of inside knowledge ,my poor old dad was a firefighter
as usual Robwin thinks the others are stupid, that they donât know anything. But most fires start inside the house and donât start from the outside. The propagation time is essential to the survival of the inhabitants. people who die in a fire very often die of asphixia.
You can translate and read this: (I know that for certain here everything that comes from France is bad)
Maison bois et incendie : quel est le risque ? - Architecture Bois magazine
We were just talking about which material burns easier. Wood or concrete. And the answer is clearly wood.
**Quote from the estate agent
About the house
Square: 144 mÂČ
house material: Foam concrete block
Number of floors: 2
Number of bedrooms: 4
I find your comments extremely offensive as i said nothing of the sort.
All i was pointing out is that wood is more infammable than brick which is rather obvious.
Wood is better as an insulator but that is not what was being discussed.
You wonât get many answers on a postage stamp, just sayin
Trust you to make a smart ass comment.
je maintien à 100% mes propos. Avec ta réflexion sur le feu du bois ou du béton, tu me prend pour un débile.
Jâai juste enseignĂ© les sciences physiques pendant 35 ans.
Concerning the change of the front door, it has nothing to do with a problem of thermal insulation, just a fear of burglaries.
If the house was burgled at least they would be on camera, unless they had a c___d with them then it would be off line
Would not be the first burglary on cam. There was on attempt on voyeur-villa and one at old Leya & Elliot place.
There was a burglar in B4 at RLC too, while the girls were in the villa⊠It took âonlyâ three hours from when we notified support until one of the guys came running over from B7, which is the house next doorâŠ
N/K saw suspicious footsteps on their property
OH ! maybe the postman or ozon
How do you know that is an accurate detail of the house and what a weird roof design?
I think the roofs are sloping to prevent too much snow from accumulating. Many alpine chalets have roofs of this shape.
Slada knows all the details of the house perfectly, like a few others.
