New Design Discussion

Why would you need to use a zoom feature with the cameras, when all you need to do is go full screen? :confounded:

I don’t, just that Mohrchi is having problems and we were just discussing it.

It would be much more desirable if the font alone could be enlarged, as it is too small, at least for me. In dark mode (blue font on black) I can barely see them.

Apologies for butting in then, to something I wasn’t totally aware of (not having read things fully before so doing).

Can agree with you on that pal, the blue is rather a pale shade.
Would be better if the menu’s either side were white text probably.

I don’t think there’s anybody touching anything, to be honest. Your experience with scaling is very weird

No problem pal :hugs:, That’s what happens when you are a nosey bugger

I do everything I can not to be too much of a nosey bugger. Successfully for now at least I hope. :joy:

I am! Further more, I am SOMETIMES quite proud of the fact. That’s not necessarily a good thing on here though.

Whilst you are online, no it’s ok i ain’t gonna repeat my usual modification request
But using dark mode, which is good, the text is a very pale blue (still readable). perhaps white would be better for the text in dark mode? but you would then lose it i suppose if you went back to light mode.
Maybe red would be a better compromise in either mode.
Just a suggestion, not a request :hugs:

In the Edge browser it currently looks like this.

Zoom-Faktor 67%

Zoom-Faktor 100%

You certainly do have a problem pal, have you tried updating Edge lately as they are often updating it.

3 dots, Help and Feedback then About Microsoft Edge.

The Edge is state of the art…

Microsoft Edge
Version 120.0.2210.77 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Yep all correct there then.

I’m starting to feel ripped off…

Now the picture looks like this…

Zoom factor 100%

But I didn’t do anything. It changed again on its own.

Not sure if you are using Windows (10) or not but if you are, I guess you know about the font size settings and the ones which deal with overall screen resolution and scaling? This can all be done in browsers (at least, the fonts can be resized there) or as a whole thing within Windows itself. I wonder if that might resolve your issues in any way.

I am not talking about zooming though…just to say.

Thanks for the tip David.
But my font size in the browser is actually what I need it to be.
The problem only relates to VHTV’s new streaming site.
So if I made it larger, all other websites would have a much larger font than I need.

At the moment the Edge browser seems to be ok. Nevertheless, the problem persists in Firefox, although the image there seems to change independently from time to time.

So of course my first guess was that VHTV was making changes behind the scenes. But VHTV already said that that wasn’t the case and that he also found my Bowser behavior very strange.
If I noticed something similar on other websites, it would probably be MY browser, but this phenomenon ONLY occurs on the new streaming site.

I’ll continue to monitor this, but for now I’ll stick with the old design, although the dark mode in the new design is much easier on the eyes.
