Yes I agree with you. Mira ______ Henry with flipping the table towards him, and he in turn ______ her by retaliating in pushing Mira very aggressively twice, the second time causing her to fall on the floor.

Granted, my last personal experience with violence was a juvenile schoolyard brawl some thirty years ago, so I’m no expert at all. What I would consider domestic violence, as I understand the term, would probably involve slapping, punching, beating? Actions you perform to cause someone physical pain? If he had gone after her when she fell over. Pushing someone away in a fight I think I can understand.
So, from my point of view, the worst part of this messy situation was his hand at her throat. That was a short moment and I think the kind of grip is difficult to judge from the outside. The only time I had a hand at my throat was in the bedroom with a woman who surprisingly seemed to be more into rough stuff while I’m more the cuddly type…
I’m not trying to defend Henry’s behaviour or other poor misunderstood violent men. He sould have just stayed on the couch and counted to ten. But things could also have gotten much worse.
As these kinds of messes tend to lead to endless heated forum debates I’ll try to not pour any more oil into the fire and respectfully retire from this discussion unless something really requires another reply by me…
