Tonight had such potential for a great party but again came to absolute nought even though a number attending really looked up for it. I donât recall much happening party wise since October and can only assume M & H are bowing out - they certainly donât seem to want to entertain us with sex parties anymore. It depends on how the comment was intended to be interpreted.
I could be insulting if it was meant to imply that I am a prostitute. I didnât view it that way. I have never taken money for that kind of work, nor have I implied that I have. There was no reason to view the comment that way.
I did not find it insulting because I viewed it as a reference that someone wanted to be seen with me. 
You would have no complaints from me if someone wanted to teach me to be a bit more refined.
My dresser is full of t-shirts, tank tops, midriffs, shorts, sports bras, exercise shorts, and yoga pants. I have club clothes in my closet but most of them no longer fit and I havenât worn them in ages. I hate wearing makeup and only do it because work insists. I wouldnât object if someone wanted to buy me a new wardrobe and expensive â â â â â â â â dresses.

Noticed from your profile you live in Ft. Lauderdale. Happy memories of when I was a teenager in the Royal Navy and we used to visit. This was in the seventies and American girls had never met British sailors before - boy did I have fun!!! Was one particular instance in the Yankee Clipper which springs to mindâŚ

I work in a law office where I am the intake interviewer. That means I am the first person at the firm with whom a prospective client spends time. In order to make a good first impression, I need to be ready whenever someone new comes in. That means wearing makeup and dressing professionally every day. I donât like wearing makeup but it is a job requirement. It also stinks because we have âdress down Fridaysâ (jeans, polos) for everyone except me. 
That was a little before I moved here from California in 2002. Fort Lauderdale had already started cracking down on spring breakers by then and college students were already finding alternative spots in Miami and Panama City Beach.
The Yankee Clipper was known as a celebrity hot spot along the beach. There are stories about Joe DiMaggio and Marlyn Monroe hanging out there (they basically called Fort Lauderdale their second home). It became a party spot for a time and got a bad reputation, then was sold and changed names to reinvent itself. Those who have been here for any length of time still call it the Yankee Clipper.
That sounds really similar to the experiences some of my friends had in high school when they visited Israel. They participated in a program called âBirthright Israelâ and stayed in a kibbutz during their trip just after we finished ninth grade. When I got back to school for my tenth grade year the big talk was who had lost her virginity over the summer. My 3 friends who went to Israel all came back bragging that they had lost their virginity with their Israeli bfs. They said Israeli guys had never met American girls before and fought over them. My friends said they would go to clubs and they would be surrounded by guys. They said their parents would have been furious if they knew about all the clubbing, a_____l, smoking, and sex that went on during the trip.
