Puppies often don’t understand that they are expected to pee outside at all, and you need time to show him what do you want them to achieve. You can go outside 5 times and he will still be urinating indoor first weeks:)
Couple of weeks of positive reinf___ement everytime doggo does it during the walk, and a dog will understand you are happy when they do their business ourdoor
But 2 times per day is minimum acceptable for lapdog like pomeranian, 3-5 is great when dog gets used to outdoor environment. Many lapdog owners are fine with their pets also using a potty between the walks, but they still need to spend decent time ourside socialising.
I have small dogs and they need to go out a lot more than twice a day. When you get a dog know that it is not a toy, and it does not just need the occasional hug. If it inconveniences you to take it out then don’t get a dog, toy stores have plenty of stuffed toys to keep you amused if that is what you want. I know it seems I may be harping on the subject but as an a____l lover it distresses me to see someone not doing the right thing. You may be OK to have your dog piss inside, but it is not right.
If you train a dog, it will let you know that it needs to go out. Their dog is not being trained as he is not being taken out enough. If your dog pisses inside, you rub it’s nose in the piss, give it a small smack and take it out, that is how you train a dog. This dog can never be trained as it is being allowed to piss without consequences.
Is this lady not the famous pee all over the curtains of Mira after getting bloto on too much ______ whilst house sitting just over a week ago , and the following day was washing the said curtains & everyone was saying she was being sick but the the fact was noticed she had her knickers around her ankles , plus another guy put her to bed with talk of him taking a sneeky feel whilst pulling her knickers up = Ahhhh yes i remember her well .
