After Mira had grabbed whatever it was, and rushed to the hall, I heard her say Indira’s original name to Kostja, as if she said, take this for Indira.
From her birthday Mira has still candy-boxes on the kitchentable between the roses, and when I&K stayed in the appartment, Indira loved the “rubber-snakes” from one of the boxes.
I think it was a “sweet-greeting” to Indira from Mira.
The keys are in a little basket in the hall wardrobe, at least is that where Mira threw them, when Kostja gave his keys back, as Indira and Kostja left.
