No longer being a participant and now being a guest might be easier for her as now she can come and go like she wants without people asking why the participant girl is not there or not joining in. She’s a guest now without any obligations at all.

Think of it like this. If you’re in a realm and your name is not on that realm, that makes you a guest. Nothing unusual about that.
