Have you pressed the upload button the one with the arrow or you can drag the images into the text box also.

I have the issue sometimes when using Chrome, happen after the update, i simply just close the forum and open it again when it happens @Sentinel1
Try using a different image format.

For screenshots, I just do it, click in the text box and go to paste and then click reply.
When I upload saved images, I use the “Upload” button to go to the save location and select the file. Actually always works. Sometimes it takes a while if the file (usually videos) is a bit larger, but for images it’s a matter of seconds.
@Sentinel1 if it doesn’t work for you, just file a support ticket. They will definitely be able to help you.

I use google chrome to download pics from the site and put them on here and it works great for me
