Well if we are talking aubergines (this icon - no idea why on earth some people call them egg plants - it’s an aubergine) then depending upon HOW one were to use it, the size might matter! If I just use the word ‘ouch’ at this point, hopefully you’ll get my meaning!
I believe that the nomenclature of the aforementioned plant depends on which side of the Atlantic Ocean that the person resides in.

Ah OK. In that case, to paraphrase the “mighty oaks” reference (hopefully you know the one)… from little aubergine seeds, big aubergines grow, causing a bit of pain for some humans!
