The problem, you see, is that we as viewers perceive their actions as constant fun and enjoyment. However, put yourselves in their shoes for a moment. This is a job with many downsides: irregular meals, inconsistent and disrupted sleep, a significant drain of energy, noise, excessive and repetitive consumption of happy water and drugs. On top of that, I have the feeling that R&Y lead the group quite authoritatively, so let’s add stress to the mix. How long can the body and mind withstand such pressure? We know that young people can endure it for quite some time, but even they have their limits. And finally, they are in a 24/7 business; this isn’t a case of “work 8 hours and then completely switch off.” If we simply compare the realm of such a setup with, for example, the realm of an independent couple, where is the biggest difference seen?
