Just a little comment about it:
It depends a bit on where you are within that time zone.
In Northern Norway it is almost midnight sun and light around the clock
While in Cape Town it’s getting towards winter and certainly darker, but they are in the same time zone 
One in the north and one in the south

Also remember daylight saving time… they are usually at GMT+4
Im from Denmark and is usually in timezone GMT+1 (but is currently gmt+2 because of the DST).
Right now it is 9.30pm and its dark outside, but looking the sky it is still a bit bright from the sun going down.
