I doubt someone is happy to fix cams again and again. Unfortunately, most landlords wouldn’t allow that =(
I think this is most likely an Eastern European thing. In Western Europe no landlord will object if you drill any holes. You just need to plug them when moving out which is no big deal at all.

The quality looks very good to me especially when you zoom in if you check the kitchen cams with the kitchen being white usually the glare from cabinets distorts the picture

True, but duct tape is better. It can fix everything from broken electrical cords to old slippers. Including most medical emergencies. And comes in handy if your business associate doesn’t want to get in your trunk willingly during a friendly debate about finances
